Using a free site sends a message to viewers - this guy/gal isn’t making money with their web marketing plan, they’re using a free website! It’s not expensive to get your own site, so do it. Now, there really isn’t anything wrong with letting them go on through to the product page, however, you don’t know if they will decide to buy the product or not. If they don’t buy the product, they are gone. If they do buy the product, they buy it and are gone. What if you had their email address and were able to communicate with them? You could convince someone who wasn’t planning on buying to actually change his or her mind and make a purchase. If they don’t, you can keep trying them until they do. With the people who do buy, you can create great customer support to keep a good customer line going and some residual income.
