The Wealthy Affiliate Forum Reviewed
Wealthy Affiliate University is an internet marketing forum that I’ve been a member of for a year. It mostly deals with creating affiliate income. But, it does it in a slightly different way than most other internet marketing forums.
The main part of Wealthy Affiliate is of course it’s forum. The forum is very active, around a few hundred posts a day. It’s almost required to check a few times a day if you’re interested in a particular thread.
Like all forums, the core is people who post regularly. There are plenty of posters, newbies and experts alike who post daily. There is Kyle and Carson who run the board, as well as Travis Sago of Bum Marketing. Plus a plethora of other posters like TerryB, HughDP, Thadroe and DaveB who always provide excellent insight into affiliate marketing.
Wealthy Affiliate started up as mainly a forum, but has since changed into something else. A complete internet marketing workshop. One of the new features that has been added in the past year, is that Wealthy Affiliate now offers free hosting for any of your websites.
There is a new service called SiteRubix which lets you drag and drop to create an outstanding website in minutes rather than days. This is a new service that has had rave reviews. Much easier than any of the other current standard web creation services, it makes it easy for new internet marketers to create a website without any knowledge of HTML or anything else.
Wealthy Affiliate also has a large range of tutorials, some video tutorials, and their centerpiece which is the Eight Week Course. No matter what your level, there is a course available for you.
One of the more innovative ideas was a $500 challenge contest held a few months ago, where the members were invited to submit ideas, tips and tricks. There were a ton of entries, from a series of videos on how to find profitable niches, to how to create a website in ten minutes. The $500 challenge section is full of really neat ideas worth checking out.
There is a certain level of one on one tutoring. If you contact Kyle or Carson through private message they are good at writing back within 24 hours. I’ve personally given them access to my adwords account, and they have given me little tweaks that have caused a campaign to go from a dud to a consistent $30 a day campaign. They will give input on landing pages, or almost anything affiliate marketing related.
All in all Wealthy Affiliate offers one of the best well-rounded internet marketing forums bar none. If you only have one forum that you pay for access to, make Wealthy Affiliate the one.
