How To Grow Businesses Using Articles

Being a business owner can be great fun! It’s wonderful to have a great new idea, invest capital funds, and work hard to see your ideas grow into business success. Regardless of how great your ideas, the one ingredient a business cannot due without is a paying customer base. If you have no paying customers, your business will not succeed. Writing articles and publishing them on the Web or in local papers is a terrific way to gain community respect and customer market share.

In what ever type of business you do, grow your reputation with articles. Everyone reads the newspaper, and local sales guides. Be the advertisement that everyone sees when they open up the Sunday paper. This will get so much exposure that you can be able to start to service those clients you need and build that reputation you want.

To successfully target the clientele you seek, it is best to interview other local business owners. Think about what kind of image you want to create for your business and what added value you believe your company provides. Do not simply document your product offerings, but also include details about yourself. What distinguishes your business from competitors? One shop might be dirt cheap and rude, while another is slightly more expensive but staffed by customer friendly cashiers which one would you prefer? The slightly more expensive shop with great customer service will overtake the rude cheap store every time. Be sure that articles you write highlight where your company adds value and especially shows your customer friendly approach to service.

Grow Businesses Using Articles. Design articles with your target market in mind and give your clientele the inside story on what your business is all about what makes you special. Seize the opportunity to tell the world what a great family guy or gal you are. Explain that you pride yourself on treating your customers well, that you believe everyone deserves respect and kindness. Let your clientele get to know you and help them feel more comfortable with you and your company each week make them like family.

You can expect a ten-fold return on your investment in newspaper articles and Internet advertisements as these tools will help you acquaint the world with your business. People enjoy reading about new ideas and they like to hear about business success stories. Be creative and bold in showing off your customer friendly personality. Make it clear that you love doing business with everyone and that you have absolutely nothing to hide.

Secondly, if you have doubts on exactly how to spend your money marketing your business, just go and speak to other business owners and see for yourself. See what routes they took and how far certain marketing strategies got them. Do what we call \”article marketing research\”. This type of research will give you not only ideas, but prices and percentages on previous business ventures and their successes. Make certain that it is one of the best ways to get the clients interested in what you have to offer.

Let us assume you currently own a locally popular business. The community knows you well or at least everyone knows your business exists and they know something about you. It’s wonderful having the respect of the local customer base, but now you want to grow your current market share or expand into new locations. Clearly your existing customer base is valuable, but you want new customers to make your expansion successful what can you do? TV ads can be effective, but perhaps too expensive. Newspaper articles and Internet postings are more affordable and may be more effective. Articles can help customers get to know you, help them understand where your business adds value over the competition, and ultimately help the larger community feel like they know you personally. Of course you will want to quote your current customers to lend credibility to your claims of being a service-oriented company and best value provider.

So grow your reputation with articles. Don’t be the only one not seen in the Sunday papers. Don’t be left out of the loop where everyone is snatching up new clients every week and no one is left for you. Be the top gun in your business field with people. Let the market know that you are here and by telling them how much you would appreciate their business. Now start your typing!
